Danbury Senior Living Leasa Albanese Leasa Albanese, Executive Director

Leasa has worked with Senior Citizens for over 20 years, the last 5 with Danbury Senior Living.  She began her senior living career as a fitness director for Wooster Community Center teaching water fitness, line dancing and a variety of other classes.  This lead Leasa to become the Activity Director for an assisted living community.  She was the Marketing Director for Danbury Senior Living in Cuyahoga Falls before becoming the Executive Director in North Canton.  Leasa enjoys her position because of the warm family atmosphere that is present from the moment you walk through the front doors.  She appreciates the team efforts of the staff and enjoys the warmth of the residents.

Danbury Senior Living Vicky Grella Vicky Grella, Sales & Marketing Director

After spending twenty-eight years in retail sales and ten years serving as a community relations director within the senior health care field, Vicky is a well-respected resource and leader within Stark County. Her knowledge, personal experiences and outstanding listening skills allow Vicky to serve as navigator and problem-solver to individuals who are looking for creative solutions. Vicky is married and is the proud mother of two grown sons.  She loves participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, rowing and biking.  She is also an avid fan of local concerts and musical productions. 

Danbury Senior Living Sam Dillon Sam Dillon, Environmental Services Director

With over thirty years’ environmental services and maintenance experience within senior living settings, Sanctuary Grande is delighted to welcome Sam Dillon to the Danbury “family”.  With outstanding credentials in the areas of building safety and emergency preparedness, Sam also has over six years dedicated experience in the field of plumbing, heating and air conditioning. Sam is proud to have been a resident of Stark County for over forty years. He and his wife, Lori, have three children and two granddaughters. Sam’s hobbies include golfing, working out in the gym and riding 1,000 miles per year on his bicycle.

Danbury Senior Living Sarah Weidner Lauren Winkhart, Executive Chef

Lauren Winkhart, Executive Chef Lauren has been in Dining Services with Danbury Senior Living for over 8 years. She trained under previous Danbury chefs to produce great food. Lauren loves cooking and enjoys making the residents happy. “I am always looking for new ideas as we make every effort to give the residents the best experience they can possibly have. My goal is to make sure that each resident leaves the dining room with a smile on their face.”

Patricia has been a part of the Danbury team for 16 years.  She owned her own restaurant for 13 years and worked in a school kitchen for 11 years.  Patricia loves her job because of the residents, and that Danbury is one big family.

Danbury Senior Living Sandi Costill Sandi Costill, Activity Director

Sandi has worked with our organization for over 17 years.  In addition to her time with Danbury, Sandi owned and operated a ceramic studio for 13 years.  She enjoys organizing activities, leading them, and teaching new activities.  She appreciates her interactions with residents and counts every day as a challenge and as a reward.

Danbury Senior Living Kathie McDonald Kathie McDonald, Business Office Manager

Kathie has been with Danbury for 11 years.  Her prior leadership experience is as an administrator of a child care and a manager of a restaurant.  Kathie appreciates the diversity of each resident.  She orchestrates the operations of the front desk and business office and is eager to assist residents and co-workers.

Danbury Senior Living Terry Conley David Robinson, Maintenance Director

With more than twenty years maintenance supervisory experience, David is delighted to join the Danbury team.  He prides himself on the values of honesty, hard work, teaching and listening.  He has been married for forty-six years and is the father of three grown children and one grandson.  In his spare time, David enjoys fishing and spending time with his dogs.

April has been with Danbury since May 2012.  She feels that Danbury is a great place to work and enjoys helping the residents.
